How to put the sliding door back on track.
With the door set aside vacuum up any debris and wipe the track clean.
Make slight adjustments and.
Lift each of the wheels with a flat head screwdriver while you push the door in.
Turn each screw counterclockwise to raise the wheels and lower the door so that you can lift the door up and out of the track.
Again using the screwdriver loosen the screw holding the roller and adjust it in the slanted slot it is attached to.
Release the wheel when it s over the track.
Angle the bottom of the door toward you while you let it down and the wheels should hook right onto the track.
Wipe down the track with a damp cloth to remove any debris and buildup that s affecting the track.
Then dab a cloth with olive oil mineral oil or petroleum jelly and use it to lubricate the tracks.
After you lower the door lower the wheels by turning each screw clockwise to secure the door in the frame.
Raise or lower the doors and test the adjustment.
Reinstall the sliding panel by inserting the top of the panel into the top track and lifting the door onto the track.
Raise the wheel by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
Insert the door s wheels into the double track inside the upper door jamb lifting it as far as it will go.
Release the door and let it swing gently back to the vertical position.
Then install the inner door first by tilting it back to engage the track and slide it into place.
Take them to your local hardware store and get replacement rollers.
It helps to angle it and put the top of the door in first.
Once the tracks are clean carefully place the door back on the tracks.
