Using the 2 nails nail the drip edge to the plywood.
Install metal roof on lean to shed.
Most metal shingles will be attached to the roof using metal shingle.
Metal roofs look great and will last forever.
To install the drip edge use tin snips to cut a triangle from the side that sits on the plywood where the metal will wrap around the corner.
Cover the lean to roof with corrugated metal roofing.
Either way a metal roof can add years to a shed because it is impervious to bugs and animals and it weathers well in every climate.
Also snip the other side directly across to prevent it from flattening.
Draw a right angled triangle on a piece of paper that shows the length of the roof and the planned height of the opening.
Compute the depth of the shed by taking the square root of the difference.
Work up from the initial row starting at the lower corner in a diagonal pattern staggering the shingles to prevent gaps.
But it can still be done as demonstrated in these photos.
Lay the starter row of metal shingles at the drip edge and affix to the roof with metal roofing nails.
The point of the triangle is where the metal will wrap around.
You can install a metal roof on any shed roof fairly easily except a barn style gambrel roof with overhang.
Lay the new metal roof right on top of an old roof or remove the old one first.
