Visit my channel homepage here. Finish securing the light fixture to the mounting plate. Check that it is straight and make adjustments. To install a wall mounted light you ll use a ceiling box and wire just as you would for a ceiling light.

Fold the wires into the junction box then place the fixture over the studs or nipple then attach with the cover plate. Most sconces mount with a center stud so you can level the fixture even if the box is not level. Ensure power feed is safely turned off at the circuit breaker panel. Trace the pancake electrical junction box in desired position on the outdoor wall.

Make sure your new outdoor light fixture is firmly attached to the wall. On average it should take about three hours to run cable install a switch and mount two wall sconces. Some models will vary but most outdoor light fixtures use a screw or clip design to hold your new fixture in place. White to white black to black and copper to copper.
