Pre drill the holes for the lag bolts and washers then screw.
Grab a pencil mark the length of the inside of the panel opening and cut to size on the miter saw.
1 x 4 x 8ft furring strip board go through and select the best boards you can find.
Glue and nail flush with the face of the door using a pin nailer and 1 23 ga pin nails.
